I used a Canon Elph to take this picture in the auto mode with the flash off.  I used Photoshop Elements

Magic Extractor to cut out the background & make it black & I edited the color 

in Lightroom 3 Beta 2.  I am very pleased with the results, although still an amateur.  

Any input, constructive of course, is very welcome!
